I am from Slovakia, and I studied social anthropology at Goldsmiths, University of London (PhD, 2016). As a part of the doctoral studies, I carried out a field research among Chechen refugees in Eastern Poland. My scholarly interests include analyses of violence and trauma, states of exception and political constructions of refugee identity.
