Spot On | Max Fuchs — Queer Spaces in Namibia
In his research, PhD student Max Fuchs presents social and economic inequalities within queer communities in Namibia and examines how these differences affect access to queer spaces, urban visibility, and forms of community. In doing so, he links local observations with global developments, such as the withdrawal of international funding or the rise of anti-queer politics. He demonstrates how queer actors in the Global South must develop new strategies for self-organization and empowerment.
