Launch of the International Max Planck Research School for the Anthropology, Archaeology and History of Eurasia (IMPRS ANARCHIE)
Stephen Shennan will lecture on „Patterns of long-term change in the European Neolithic“ to mark the opening of the new International Max Planck Research School for the Anthropology, Archaeology and History of Eurasia on 15 October.
The department 'Resilience and Transformation in Eurasia' in cooperation with the Martin Luther University of Halle-Wittenberg is launching a new International Max Planck Research School devoted to the investigation of diachronic processes in Eurasian societies and cultures. The IMPRS aims to overcome theoretical and methodological boundaries between anthropology, archaeology and history and to renew cross-fertilisation of the three disciplines.
