The International Max Planck Research School for Anthropology, Archaeology and History of Eurasia is Taking Shape

With the appointment of Daria Sambuk as Coordinator and the selection of the first cohort of PhD students, major steps have been taken toward the formal launch of the IMPRS ANARCHIE.

With the appointment of Daria Sambuk as Coordinator and the selection of the first cohort of PhD students (4 archaeologists, 4 historians and 4 anthropologists), major steps have been taken toward the formal launch in October 2012 of the new International Max Planck Research School for Anthropology, Archaeology, and History of Eurasia (IMPRS ANARCHIE). Within their three-year grants, the PhD students will be provided with an interdisciplinary training, carried out by the staff of the Max Planck Institute in cooperation with the Martin Luther University of Halle-Wittenberg. The opening ceremony will take place on 15th of October 2012 at the Max Planck Institute for Social Anthropology.
