Religious and cultural diversity before European courts:

Procedural aspects regarding the access to justice by members of vulnerable groups in Portugal

My current interdisciplinary postdoctoral project analyzes the legal approach of Portugal towards cultural and religious diversity associated with vulnerable groups such as migrants and members of religious minorities. By doing so, it addresses gender dimensions of the issues related to these groups. It examines the questions of how Portugal deals with religious and cultural diversity pertaining to vulnerable groups on a legal basis, and to which extent the Portuguese approach to religious and cultural diversity may be related to the approaches of other European countries.
