I am working in the newly constituted field of neuroanthropology, especially the investigation of cultural nexus produced by neurological imaging techniques such as EEG, fMRI, and PET. I am working on ancestral identity in the process of the neural self/non-self-recognition, and on culture as a collective underpinning of neural patterns that trigger autonomously specific perceptions, and behaviors.
