"Integration and Conflict Studies" Max Planck Institute for Social Anthropology, Halle/Saale and Berghahn Books
About the series and published volumes  The series is a forum for the publication of outstanding scholarly monographs and edited volumes which contribute to the study of integration and conflict, a topic that is at the core of contemporary social sciences and a matter of general public concern. The major objective of the series is to provide first-rank contributions to a better understanding of identifications and inter-group relations that we conceptualize as underlying all processes of integration and conflict. The regional scope of the series is open, with West Africa, North-Eastern Africa, Central and Southeast Asia receiving particular attention as focus areas of our research. more
